Meet Our Staff

Bob grew up on a farm near Aylmer Ontario where he attended elementary and high school. He attended UWO where he received a Bachelors of Science degree. After attending UWO he worked towards his CA designation, receiving that in 1982. Prior to establishing his firm in 1983, he worked for five years in the accounting and taxation fields in London, Tillsonburg, and Woodstock.

Bob has served on the Board of the Woodstock Non-Profit Housing Corporation, the Oxford Progressive Conservative Association, John Knox Christian School Society of Woodstock, Covenant Christian Reformed Church of Woodstock, London District Christian Secondary School, Rotary District 7080, and the Rotary Club of Woodstock Charitable Foundation.

Bob enjoys running, reading, golfing, travelling, and spending quality time with his family. He is active in his church and in his children's school, serving on various committees. Bob is married to his wife Marion, and they reside near Woodstock with their three children (Laura, Rachel, and Andrew), two cats (Ben and Jerry), and a dog (Jennie).

Arley has been working with Bob since 1991, after 14 years with CIBC. She is a graduate of Fanshawe College and continuing education and practical experience have allowed her to gain expertise in a complete range of accounting, auditing, and tax preparation services. She works with many non-profit organizations and her "specialty" is the non-profit housing sector. Arley also particularly enjoys consulting with clients on set up and development of accounting software solutions.

Arley appreciates the high standard Bob sets for his practice and is proud to be a part of a team that offers such professional and dependable service. Since 1999 she has served on the Board of Trust of the Woodstock General Hospital, including a 3 year term as Treasurer.

Arley resides in Woodstock with her husband and two sons and enjoys traveling and camping adventures.

Josephine is a life long resident of Norwich, Ontario where she attended both elementary school and high school. She has a diploma in Business Administration Systems from Fanshawe College, and has worked in the accounting field since 1998. Her experience includes reception, payroll, advertising, CAIS program, personal and corporate income tax returns, bookkeeping, and preparation of year end and interim financial statements for a wide variety of businesses.

She currently sits on the board for CSEA Inc. (Canadian Sweet Potato Ethanol Alliance), and was a leader of Cubs and Beavers.

She describes herself as a people person, perfectionist, happy & outgoing. She enjoys playing volleyball, loves animals, and is the happy owner of some house cats!

John graduated from Mohawk College, with a degree in Business Accounting. After graduation, he enrolled into the CGA program and is still currently in the program completing his professional designation.

Prior to joining Bob Dieleman's staff in the fall of 2003, he gained some initial accounting experience working in public accounting in Woodstock and London. He has steadily progressed in financial reporting, personal and corporate tax filing and enjoys interacting with staff and clients. The atmosphere in the office is open and friendly.

John resides in Woodstock with his wife and two children and is actively involved as a member of a local church.

Melissa joined the staff at Bob Dieleman Professional Corporation in January of 2008. Melissa has a college diploma, and is increasing her knowledge with continuing education courses. She also has over 10 years experience in family run small business.

She currently is an active member on the executive of the Norwich Otterville Lions Club along with being involved in many of her children's activities.

Melissa is a life time resident of Norwich and is raising 3 young daughters (Megan, Allison and Rebecca) along with her husband Greg. Melissa enjoys many activities including camping, walking, reading and gardening. Melissa feels lucky to be able to work in such a friendly, helpful environment everyday.

Marc graduated from the University of Windsor in 2009, with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and a specialization in Accounting. In 2008, he enrolled as a CA Student and is currently in the process of completing his professional designation.

Prior to joining Bob Dieleman's staff in the fall of 2010, he gained valuable accounting experience in auditing and taxation during several co-op work terms for accounting firms in Cochrane, Alberta and Newmarket, Ontario.

Marc resides in Woodstock, enjoys working with youth, strategy games and loves participating in various sports like hockey, baseball and cycling.

Kevin graduated from Brock University in 2011, with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Co-op. In 2008, he enrolled as a CA Student as the start to his goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant. He currently has passed the 2011 Uniform Final Exam and is accumulating the necessary work experience. Prior to joining with firm, he had co-op placements with accounting firms in Burlington, Toronto and Exeter. In these co-ops, he learned various backgrounds of accounting such as auditing and taxation.

Kevin resides in Woodstock, enjoys skiing, playing a casual game of hockey, playing on the piano and reading non-fiction books.
